This note was purchased in 1986 and has been stored in perfect temperature and humidity conditions.  The note was recently graded by PMG and encapsulated in their standard mylar sleeve with descriptive information printed on the outside of the sleeve.  Catalog value has been taken from the 21st Edition of Paper Money of the United States by Friedberg. Beautiful 1891 Treasury Note graded by PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality).  In determining the catalog value of this note, the Friedberg catalog goes only to Gem Unc 65.
Since this note is graded a 66 by PMG, the actual catalog value would be higher than the 65 value.  A further note - the CDN Green Sheet, which lists current retail values, carries a value of 00.00 for this note in a 66 grade.
